What is a .nam file and how do I play it?

I recorded a radio interview and can't figure out how to save it and play it. My only option seems to be to save a *.nam file but no way to play it. Please help.

What would be the basic proceedure to copy a tape cassette, through the PC mic/usb socket and input tracks into my PC, then, using Audiograbber help me create a copy of my music so that I can put it on to a CD for my personal use in my Car CD player. Also, would I be able to make ajustments to clean up/improve the finished copy.
